I love this series so much, can’t wait for the next. It’s a very gritty story but very satisfying. Couldn’t put it down.

I’ve always been a reader but a long time since any held my attention like this series. It seems we all have a part of Baer inside us. Right or wrong we’re all human and anyone that’s owned a dog (or been owned by one) knows that they do talk to you. Most times they’re the smart ones. Look forward to the rest.

Loved the story line, the characters come to life in the narrative. Descriptions are very colorful. What’s not to like?
Nancy Luce –
Unlike the other baer novels this one kept going back and forward. Less action and words that were taking up space.
Kindle Customer –
Insightful and entertaining at the same time. I disagree with having to say more in other to post a review.

I’m on book #4 of the Baer Creighton series. I just can’t put them down. What I’m wondering is, will #6 only be available on Kindle? Does anyone know? I don’t care for that format, but if it is available in paperback, I would like to pre-order.

Bear is the ultimate anti-hero. He has his own, experience based, morality. And his own sense of justice that evolves through his stories. I’m all in.

I guess I was disappointed in how it ended. I had expected more from Baer.I don’t know it just did not flow like his other books about Baer. And having him end up as it did with the girls.

I read the first four books by Clayton Lindemuth and found the character of Baer Creighton out of the ordinary and attention grabbing. For some reason I struggled with this fifth edition of Blunt Force Kindness. I enjoyed it but the flashbacks in time just threw me off on this book. It seemed I wanted to get on with the story and not go back and forth. I do encourage others to read it though.

So, after having read 5 books in the Baer Creighton series, I’ve finally come up for air to check on my family. These books are so entertaining and exciting, waiting for the next “bad guy” to get what he deserves. I love the characters so much — Baer, of course, but all the others, as well, are so well formed that it’s like watching a fast-moving movie, but better. I have to admit to being a little distracted by wondering how someone could go so long without washing his hands or showering, but I love, love this books and can hardly wait for more. Thank you, Clayton, for hours and hours of pleasurable reading.

I. LOVE. These. Books! I’m pretty sure that I’ve read everything that Clayton Lindemuth has written. And the next one can’t come soon enough! If you’re ready to have your timbers shivered, this is a good place to start. They’re dark and gritty, and the onions are strong enough to make the burps interesting….Or something like that.
